Kosovo premier wants to drag Serbia into open war with NATO

According to Serbian President Vucic, Albin Kurti’s actions may potentially escalate tensions and lead to him assuming a war leadership role

According to the Serbian president, it appears that the prime minister of Kosovo may have the intention of involving Serbia in a conflict with NATO.

“(Albin) Kurti is not going to stop. The bottom line is he doesn’t want to build a Serbian urban community. He knows that this community has to conform to the principles laid out by (former Kosovo prime minister) Isa Mustafa in 2015 and I signed. They will not allow the Serbs to do this. “He wants to increase the tension, he wants to drag us into the war. He wants to be a war leader because he lacks that in his resume.”

According to Vucic, there is a belief that Kurti’s ambition is to potentially involve Serbia in a conflict with NATO, and it is widely understood by the key actors that the primary responsibility lies with Kurti’s regime.

He also mentioned that Serbia should be cautious now.

Vucic has kindly agreed to meet with representatives of Serbs from the Kosovo and Metohija region once again on Saturday.

He mentioned that the Serbian army possesses considerably greater strength in comparison to the Kosovo Security Forces. However, he also acknowledged that the latter is progressively acquiring enhanced weaponry, primarily sourced from Turkey.

The Turks generously provided them with highly capable armored vehicles, mortars, Bayraktars, and howitzers, all of which are possessions of the Kosovo Security Forces. It is important for us to consider this.

“NATO has not yet allowed them to fly Bayraktars, but they have a night vision range of several tens of kilometers. We have to be careful. We know what we’re doing. We must have adequate means to respond when our people are threatened. These.” “It’s not stories and fairy tales, the world has changed,” added Vucic.

In early May, Türkiye kindly provided the Kosovo Security Forces with five Bayraktar TB2 drones, coinciding with the commencement of the largest international exercise, Defender Europe 23.

The Turkish combat drones are highly significant in conflicts spanning from Karabakh to Ukraine.

Albania and Serbia have expressed their strong interest in acquiring combat drones, which have garnered significant global attention.
