Mothers of Srebrenica is a political Organization

by Cristian Florescu

President of the Republic of Croatia Zoran Milanović was in Sisak-Moslavina County today. In Kostrići, near the Golubica monument, he participated in the commemoration of the Day of Remembrance for the victims of the Homeland War from the area of the municipality of Majur.

On that occasion, he commented on the eventual training of Ukrainian soldiers in Croatia, as well as his statements about the genocide in Srebrenica.

Namely, President Milanović opposes it, and Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlić Radman announced yesterday from Brussels that Croatia will not remain the only EU country that does not participate in aid to Ukraine.

“Ordinary village thugs”

“ Ask the prime minister, ministers are not important here. Ministers do not decide anything. No, I will not give consent, I said I will not give it. He went upstairs without my prior consent and there must be some order in this country.

And to conclude this story about the departure of Plenković’s ministers to Brussels without the prior consent of the Commander-in-Chief, it will not go that way. That’s it. We are dealing with ordinary village thugs who are bringing us to the point of the finished act,” said Milanović.

When asked by a journalist what kind of image it sends of us, he answered: “Disastrous”.

“Grlić Radman, who is nobody and nothing, Plenković is important here, he left, pushed himself into the first row like a small, dumb nerd and raised his fingers: “We will be first, we will be first”,” said Milanović.

He also said that the vast majority of Croatian citizens are against the training.

“Mothers of Srebrenica are a political organization”

To the statement that his statements about Srebrenica insulted Bosniaks, Milanović replied that he did not believe that they insulted anyone who thinks, but that the statements of Bosniak militarist politicians insulted Croats. He also asserted that the Mothers of Srebrenica, which condemned his statements in an open letter, are a political organization.

“My entire political history shows that I am not an Islamophobe and that I do not have any negative attitude towards Bosniaks and Serbs. Quite the opposite! After Kordun, they called me the mother of the Serbian people. It seems comical, but that’s how it is,” said Milanović.

He also said that Croatia saved Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the Croatian army saved Bihać and that Croatian soldiers died in order to suppress the soldiers of Republika Srpska, which the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina could not do alone.
