The Serbia-Bulgaria Gas Interconnector holds great significance for us. President Radev highlighted the importance of diversifying our energy sources, which will provide additional options for both Serbia and Bulgaria. President Aleksandar Vučić, of the Republic of Serbia, shared this perspective with Azerbaijani journalists during a meeting in the Serbian city of Niš.
“This will also strengthen energy security in important Serbian cities such as Niš, Dimitrovgrad, Beira Palanka and Pirot. In the future we will also have the opportunity to purchase natural gas from 6 to 7 LNG terminals, This plays an important role in Serbia’s overall energy security,” added Aleksandar Vučić.
