The heads of state of Azerbaijan and Serbia engage in bilateral discussions, encompassing both individual and broader deliberations

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, held a one-on-one meeting with the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, in the Serbian city of Niš, as reported by News.Az.

The presidents highly praised the successful development of friendship and strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Serbia across various areas and conveyed their utmost confidence that bilateral cooperation would continue to strengthen further.

Highlighting the significance of the inauguration of the Serbia-Bulgaria Gas Interconnector, the parties expressed their appreciation for Azerbaijan’s valuable contribution to the gas supply in Europe.

President Ilham Aliyev extended a cordial invitation to the President of Serbia to kindly consider visiting Azerbaijan. The invitation was graciously accepted.

During the conversation, they politely exchanged their perspectives on the potential for collaboration.
