The US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, reacted after the non-grata announcement of the former officials of the Western Balkan countries, where among them were the former Socialist Party MO Aqif Rakipi and the businessman Ylli Ndroqi, writes Albanian Daily News
Through a Twitter post, Blinken writes that the US is holding accountable those who threaten the stability, progress and European integration of the region.
“Today, the US Department of State and the US Treasury Office took action to designate actors in the Western Balkans for destabilizing and corrupt activities. The United States and partners like the United Kingdom are holding accountable those threaten the stability, progress and European integrations of the region,” Blinken wrote.
